Our Responsibility

We believe responsible energy development is the foundation for long-term growth and impact. Our responsibility extends beyond profit  to people, communities, and the environment.

Anti Corruption policy

Dragol Energy Resources Limited maintains a Zero-Tolerance Policy towards all forms of bribery and corruption. This commitment is non-negotiable and foundational to how we conduct our business across Nigeria and sub-Saharan Africa. We operate in strict compliance with all local and international anti-corruption laws, including the Nigerian ICPC and EFCC Acts.

Our core ethical pillars are:

No Bribery:

We prohibit the direct or indirect offering, giving, or accepting of bribes, kickbacks, or anything of value to improperly influence a business outcome.

No Facilitation Payments:

We strictly forbid the use of “grease payments” to expedite routine government actions, a practice that undermines transparency.

Third-Party Vetting:

We conduct rigorous due diligence on all agents, contractors, and partners to ensure their standards meet our own high ethical benchmark.

Transparency:

All financial transactions are accurately recorded in our books and subject to regular audit.

Any violation of this policy by any employee, director, or third party acting on our behalf will result in immediate termination and referral to the appropriate legal authorities.

Nigerian Local Content Policy

Dragol Energy Resources Limited is a proud indigenous Nigerian company committed to contributing significantly to the nation’s economic and industrial development. Our operations are governed by the spirit and letter of the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry Content Development (NOGICD) Act 2010.

Asset Ownership:

We are committed to increasing Nigerian ownership of assets and equipment used in our upstream and downstream activities, in line with regulatory requirements.

Research & Development (R&D):

We will allocate resources and collaborate with local institutions to promote R&D, technology transfer, and domestic capacity growth within the Nigerian oil and gas industry.

Accountability: Compliance with this Local Content Policy is monitored by the Company’s executive management and reported to the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) as required.

Key Focus Areas:

Our strategy is to maximize the level of Nigerian participation and value-added creation across all our projects, contracts, and operations.

Employment and Training:

Nigerians shall be given first consideration for employment and training in all projects where the skills are available.

We maintain a robust succession plan to ensure the prompt training and replacement of expatriate personnel with qualified Nigerian employees.

We commit to investing in the training, certification, and skill development of our Nigerian workforce to global standards.

Procurement of Goods and Services:

We give first consideration to services provided from within Nigeria and to goods manufactured in Nigeria, provided they meet the required quality, health, safety, and environmental standards.

We prioritize the award of contracts to indigenous Nigerian companies that demonstrate the capacity and commitment to comply with the NOGICD Act, including when their bid prices are competitive (within the 10% price preference threshold, where applicable).

Powering Africa’s energy future through responsible development of oil, gas, solid minerals, and renewable energy resources.
