Dele Aikhionbare is an accomplished exploration professional with over 30 years of experience in various leadership roles across Africa, the Middle East, and Europe. He previously served as Regional Managing Director at WesternGeco Schlumberger, where he oversaw proprietary seismic data acquisition and processing operations in Gulf of Guinea nations. He has also acted as a strategic adviser to the government of Ivory Coast on ultra-deep oil block projects and was Director for National Content Development, successfully delivering complex oil and gas developments throughout West Africa and internationally.

As co-founder and board member of Dragol Energy Resources Limited, Mr. Aikhionbare fulfils the role of Executive Director, responsible for overseeing subsurface and seismic acquisition/verification, fostering partnerships, liaising with government agencies, and managing host community stakeholder relations.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical & electronic Engineering from the University of Benin, and a Diploma in Seismic Electronics from the German Seismos Training School in Hannover.
