Engr. George Okoyo is a seasoned engineer and accomplished business leader with over thirty (30) years of professional experience spanning oil and gas facilities design, project execution, business management, and corporate leadership.

His career includes two decades at Point Engineering Limited, where he served as Pioneer Managing Director, leading the company’s growth into a respected indigenous engineering services provider. Earlier, he held senior technical roles at ABB Lummus Global, including heading the Piping and Pipeline Department, contributing to the successful execution of major engineering and construction projects in the petrochemical, onshore, and offshore sectors.

George’s experience is highly multidisciplinary, encompassing project management, field development planning, asset management, HSE (health, safety and environment) management, and staff development. He has held key roles such as Discipline Engineer, Lead Engineer, and Project Manager on numerous projects, and is a certified HAZOP Facilitator with experience in over twenty HAZOP reviews for Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC).

He joined the Board of Dragol Energy Resources Limited in September 2025 as CEO, bringing his extensive leadership acumen, technical experience, and commitment to operational excellence to drive the company’s mission.
